Utilities Underground Location Center (UULC) was started on July 31, 1978, by five Seattle area utilities:
- Pacific Northwest Bell (Qwest)
- Puget Sound Power & Light (Puget Sound Energy)
- Washington Natural Gas (Puget Sound Energy)
- Seattle City Light
- King County Department of Public Works
Call Before You Dig will mark all utilities with paint or flags located on your property to the street.
